Kimberly With An E
Grade 12 student Ananiya Narmathan wrote and published the book, Kimberley With An E, which was recently included in our school library collection by our teacher librarian Heather Chalmers. The book describes the challenges faced by a girl named Kimberley who struggles to help others understand how to correctly pronounce her name and why that is important.
Grade 9 Muskoka Woods Orientation
Our grade 9 students participated in the annual orientation experience at Muskoka Woods. The students had many opportunities to develop new friendships, try exciting activities, and create a sense of community. Awards Night at St. Augustine
At our Awards Nights on October 18th and 19th, we acknowledged students in special categories such as the Perseverance Awards, Father Fogarty Catholic Education Award, and the University of Waterloo math and science competitions. EQAO Results and 2023 School Climate Survey
St. Augustine continues to rank among the top-performing schools in Ontario based on the results of provincial assessments. Last year, 88% of grade 9 students were achieving above the provincial standard. The number of students at Level 4 increased by 9% from the previous year; which reflects the dedication of our students and the efforts of our teachers to deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum. ... Titan Athletes
Titan athletes have competed with skill and fairness in the following fall sports: basketball, cross-country running, golf, field hockey, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Special mention to the girls’ golf team who placed 5th at the provincial tournament and our Jr. boys’ soccer team as they defeated Markham High School in the YRAA Tier 2 finals.
